Green Drinks International is a grassroots movement connecting environmentalists across the globe. There’s probably a chapter in your city (if not, you should start one).

If you’re a resident around Greenville, SC we hope you’ll join us at our monthly 2nd Wednesday meetings. Hanging around like-minded individuals keeps you inspired and motivated to make green decisions. Plus, it’s fun!

Our chapter was founded on June 11th, 2008. We’re currently above 200 members and each meeting has around 15 – 30 attendees of all ages and backgrounds. We blend environmental education and socializing by hosting a green speaker each month and encouraging a question/answer period while we enjoy local brews, fair trade coffee, and omnivorous or vegetarian fare.

Join us in the downstairs art gallery at the Coffee Underground on 2nd Wednesdays at 6:00pm (occasional venue or time changes are announced so please sign the email list for updates).

• April 13th, 2011 — Carol Lynn Jackson of the foothills of WNC will be talking about local food (and how to sign up for a Greenville delivery of sustainable produce & proteins)
